I recently read an online article about the basketball team at an Orthodox Jewish high school in Houston (story here:, when I saw a pop-up ad for Jack-In-The-Box’s “Love Bacon/Marry Bacon” campaign.

The irony was not lost on me.

And no, the Jack-In-The-Box ad did not appear on the New York Times’ website.  That’s just the best place to get the story.
